1C 1st/2nd =15+any   

Responses are:

1D=game forcing any

1H=5-9 no 5card major unless 5332

1S=0-5pts any

1NT=5-9 5+H not 5332 and must have second suit

2C=5+S and 4+minor 5-9

2D=5+S and 4+H 5-9

2H=single suited 5-9

2S=single suited 5-9

2NT and above are all 5440 shapes and game forcing.

 

1C 3rd/4th = 17+any     all responses as above but points down by at least 1

 

1D 1st/2nd = 4+H 9-14

Responses:

1H = normal 1NT or Game forcing

1S= Nat 5-11

1NT=C 2C=D

2D=9-11 3 hearts

2H=6-9 with 3 hearts

2NT = limit raise with 4

all others splinters

 

1H 1st/2nd = 4+S step as above.

 

1S 1st/2nd = 4+D

Responses:

1NT is relay

2C = 5+H

2D = 5+S

2H = 4S and 5H

2S = clubs and another

2NT = limit for diamonds.

1NT 1st/2nd/4th = 11-14 may have 5 card major and may be 5422 minors

1NT 3rd = 14/16.

 

Note 3rd and 4th seat bids are natural except 1C.

 

2C 1st/2nd = 6+C not 4D may have major.

 

2D 1st/2nd = weak either major.

 

2H/2S = 5 card weak twos no shortage either 5332 8-11 or 7-10 5422.

2H/2S 3rd/4th = weak

 

2NT 1st/2nd 7-10 5+5+ minors     3rd 9-12

 

3-level standard preempts but 3NT = strong 4-major opening
